Placing An Order

By placing an order for the purchase of goods from the Those Were The Days online store you are deemed to have read, understood and agreed to our terms and conditions.  This does not affect your statutory rights.  If you have any queries please contact us on 0131 225 4400 or by email to


All items are subject to availability, and as a consequence you should be aware that we may not be able to fulfill your order.  This is because there will be a delay between the time your order is placed and the time your order is accepted, which means the stock position relating to particular items may change.  If an item you have ordered becomes out of stock we will give you a full refund.


We reserve the right to change prices quoted on the website from time to time.  Our online store contains a large number of items and as a consequence it is always possible that, despite our best efforts some of the items listed in our online store may be incorrectly priced.  We try to ensure that all pricing is correct and will normally verify prices as part of our dispatch procedures so that where an item’s correct price is less than our stated price, we will charge the lower amount when dispatching the item to you.  If an item’s correct price is higher than the price stated on our site, we will normally, at our discretion, contact you to advise of the situation and reject your order.

We are under no obligation to provide the item to you at the incorrect (lower) price, even after we have sent you a dispatch confirmation, if the pricing error is obvious and unmistakable and could have reasonably been recognised by you as an error.  

Product Specifications and Information

We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the items featured in our online store.  However, please remember that shopping online is very different to shopping in-store.  For instance, the colours we use, as well as the display and colour capabilities of your particular computer, tablet or mobile device’s monitor may greatly affect the colours you see on the screen.  We cannot be held responsible for any limitations of your monitor and cannot guarantee that your monitor’s display of any colour, texture or detail of items will be accurate / the same as the actual item.

Please be aware that although we make every effort to ensure that all sizes and measurements are as accurate as possible they are approximate measurements.  We have also endeavored to provide the approximate UK size based on the measurements in our size guide chart.  Please refer to the measurements guide tab for each item and contact us if you have any questions.


Payment for all items must be by credit or debit card. We accept payment with the following cards:

Confirmation Email

Once you have place an order you will receive an order confirmation email.

Dispatch Email

When we have dispatched your order you will receive an order dispatch email.

Your Right to Cancel

If you wish to cancel an order, you must email us within 24 hours.  Please quote your order number in the email.  If you have already received an email confirming dispatch then unfortunately it is too late to cancel your order.  In this instance it is your responsibility to return the goods to us at your own cost and risk.  They must be returned in adequate packaging and via a tracked service and must be unworn, tagged and in the same condition in which they were dispatched from Those Were The Days in (please refer to our returns policy for more information).  In these circumstances we will refund the cost of the goods on their safe return and in any case, within thirty days of the day you gave notice of the cancellation.  We will not refund any postage costs in this instance.
